この頃、住んでいたところにたくさんの水田があった。水盤が鏡のように美しく、規則的に植えられた緑色の苗やそれが風に揺れるのをいつも見ていた。やわらかく膨らんだかたちも私にとって大切なモチーフのひとつ。
There were many paddy fields around my house then. The surface of them beautifully reflecting like mirrors. Loved to watch the young green rice plants were swaying in the breeze. The shape gently swelling is one of the important motifs to me.
